Mike Rauta

Mike Rauta has fourteen years of experience in consulting, operations, technology startups, sales, and team dynamics. Prior to founding Pivvit, Mike served as an Associate Principal partner with McKinsey & Company in the firm's Operations and Business Technology practices, where he led multiple simultaneous project teams to advise leading companies on Lean operations, cost transformations, sales effectiveness, and application development. When he left the firm, Mike was among the top five McKinsey consultants in North America in Lean Operations experience.

Prior to McKinsey, Mike was the first employee and initial product manager at Xtime, where he helped the company raise $20M in venture funding from Venrock and Draper Fisher Jurvetson, helped the company reach 200 employees, and drove a collaborative process to establish the company's mission and values. Mike served as Director of Business Development, overseeing the inside sales team while also driving partner sales. Xtime has received numerous accolades including the CIO 100 Award and has been featured at the Demo and Showcase conferences.

Mike has seven US patents issued or pending. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Physics from Harvard University, and subsequently completed an MBA and master's in Education from Stanford University. Mike continues to be involved with the Stanford Graduate School of Business as an interpersonal dynamics facilitator. In his spare time, Mike enjoys martial arts, eating healthy, traveling and dancing Argentine

Denisse Goldbarg

Prior to joining Pivvit, Denisse Goldbarg was Vice President of Marketing for Time Warner Cable Business Services / AOL, where she was responsible for Corporate Marketing and managed a $30M budget. In that role she managed all aspects of branding, lead generation for small, medium, and large businesses, product marketing, interactive marketing, channel marketing, and corporate sponsorships. Prior to Time Warner Cable, Denisse worked for over 15 years in sales and marketing at such companies as Teligent, MCI, and Colgate Palmolive, and Booz Allen & Hamilton. She serves as a Board Member of the Washington Women's Leadership Initiative, and also as a volunteer project lead for Compass, where she consults to nonprofits.

Denisse is a graduate of the Betsy Magness program, a member of WICT, and is a former co-chairman of the Business Services Committee for CTAM. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Wellesley College, and holds an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and an MBA from Harvard University. Denisse has traveled extensively, worked in both Europe and Latin America, and is fluent in 3 languages.

Jason Roberts

Jason Roberts graduated with a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Chicago in 1993 and has been writing code and launching startups ever since. His initial ventures were focused on the financial markets and algorithmic trading, but in 2004 Jason moved on to building web applications starting the cutting-edge presentation platform, Preezo. In addition to his entrepreneurial efforts, Jason has worked on and off as a freelance consultant helping trailblazing technology startups like Uber and MarkITx address their most challenging technical problems.

Mike Lyons

Mr. Lyons currently serves as Chairman of Zanttz, Inc. a cyber security company based upon technology developed through a tech transfer partnership with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, and Executive Chairman of CypherPath, a cyber security training company. He is also a Managing Director of NewLine Ventures, LLC, a management consulting firm. From 2008 to 2011, he also served as a Venture Partner with the Paladin Capital Group in Washington, D.C. and as a Venture Partner for ePlanet Ventures I and II. From 2002 to 2006, he was also an Entrepreneur in Residence at Vanguard Ventures, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm, and a Sr. Advisory Director of Investcorp, a large NY-based late stage venture capital firm. He was a co-founder and General Partner of Zilkha Venture Partners (Fund closed out in 2003), an early stage venture capital partnership focused on seed and first round investments in IT and technology companies, principally located in Silicon Valley. He founded SafeView, Inc. in 2002, a Government Laboratory (PNNL) spinout, to address aspects of the anti-terrorist physical security market; the Company closed A and B rounds totaling more than $23M led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, ePlanet Ventures, GE/Invision, Paladin Capital Group, and Novak Biddle. He served as Chairman until its sale to L3 Communications in March, 2006. He currently serves as a Director of Real-Time Innovations, a privately held software company focused on advanced real-time integration of complex systems.

Concurrently, Mr. Lyons is a Consulting Associate Professor at both the Stanford University Department of Management Science and Engineering and the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. Serving in the Stanford position since 1988, he was a co-developer of the Stanford Technology Ventures Program with Prof. Tom Byers. He is the academic director of the Stanford-Lille SCPD Executive Education Program. He is a founding professor of Technology Venture Formation, one of the most highly rated courses in the School of Engineering, which he currently co-teaches with Audrey MacLean, a leading Silicon Valley Angel investor, Executive Chairman of CoRaid, and founder of NET and Jack Fuchs, a Silicon Valley CFO, educator and tech investor.

From 1980 to 1991, he was a co-founder, a Vice-President, and a Director of Integrated Systems Inc. (INTS)(founded 1980), and a key member of the management team that brought the company public with Alex.Brown and Hambrecht & Quist, in 1990. In 1999 the Company was merged with WindRiver Systems, which was then acquired by Intel in 2009.

Mr. Lyons received a Bachelors and Masters (equivalent) in Engineering Physics from Cornell University, an MSEE from Stanford, and an MBA, with Distinction, from the Pepperdine Presidential/Key Executive Program. He is a graduate of the Stanford/AEA Institute for the Management of High Technology Companies and a Babson Fellow in Entrepreneurship Education.

Peter Kim

Peter Kim is the CEO of MightyHive, an enterprise software company based in San Francisco, CA that is backed by leading Silicon Valley investors. An influential figure in Advertising Technologies, Peter has worked with the world’s largest advertisers in improving marketing strategies across every industry vertical and has held senior positions in Product Management, Sales, and Business Development at Google and Yahoo!. He earned his BS Biomechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley and his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
